‘Essential’ caregivers lobby for greater access to loved ones in nursing homes
Many residents in senior living facilities have suffered acute loneliness over the last several months as visitation restrictions prevent family members from spending time with their loved ones. One Pennsylvania woman argues that what she calls "essential caregivers" or 'people who were actively involved in visiting family members in long-term care before the pandemic' should be allowed to visit with their family members in-person to combat the effects of isolation. Veterans Day in 2020

It features concealed medical equipment and eliminates long double-loaded corridors, creating a residential atmosphere within a comfortable community environment. We are excited to be working with LCS Development to expand Whitestone! WhiteStone is A Masonic and Eastern Star Community in Greensboro, North Carolina. The expansion project will include an addition of 67 independent living units, a building with 36 private suites for assisted living/memory care, and an extensive renovation of the existing skilled nursing facility, all of which will help WhiteStone serve more seniors!
