VMI Alumni Memorial Stadium and Patchin Field Stadium

Lexington, VA

These two fields serve the athletic department, general campus, and the community as key event facilities. Alumni Memorial Field holds approximately 10,000 spectators for football games and Patchin Baseball Field holds 400 fans for baseball games. Expansions and improvements updated the facilities and accommodated the needs of the fans and Keydet athletes. A new entrance plaza area was designed for the northwest corner of Alumni Memorial Field. This new entrance provides a new public face for the facility and incorporated signage, ticketing areas, and other elements to enhance visibility as the "main" entrance.
